Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aluminum Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting aluminum components used in various construction, industrial, and custom fabrication projects. Your expertise will ensure precision and quality in every piece, contributing to the successful completion of complex assemblies.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble aluminum structures and components.
- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding to join aluminum parts with precision and consistency.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment to shape and modify materials as needed.
- Measure dimensions accurately to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Conduct assembly of aluminum railing, stairs, and landings.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely for moving raw materials or finished products.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE),



especially during welding, plasma cutting, or heavy lifting activities.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding aluminum using MIG processes in manufacturing or construction environments.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, and use of hand tools or power tools.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and part specifications accurately.
- Experience with aluminum railing fabrication or construction projects is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely on the job site preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, and general manufacturing practices.
