- We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This position is responsible for maintaining apartment units, common areas, and property grounds to ensure a secure, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs in occupied and vacant apartment units.

Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.

Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues.

Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and repairs.

Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.

Inspect property grounds and common areas to identify maintenance needs.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours calls when required.

Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and property upkeep as needed.

Communicate professionally with residents and management regarding maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Minimum of 1-2 years of maintenance experience,



preferably in apartment communities or residential properties.

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building maintenance.

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

Pay Range: $18-$28 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with on-call and weekend availability as needed.
