Appliance Installer & Repair Technician – Part time Contractor
We are looking for an experienced Appliance Installer / Repair Technician to work with us on a part-time contractor basis, approximately 1–3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Install dishwashers, over-the-range (OTR) microwaves, and range hood fans
- Diagnose appliance issues at customers’ homes for warranty/service calls
- Diagnose and repair appliances at our warehouse
- Test appliances after installation or repair to ensure proper operation
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear service notes
Requirements
- Experience with appliance installation, diagnosis, and repair
- Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable with basic plumbing, electrical connections, and ventilation
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Compensation & Schedule
- Independent contractor position
- Approximately 1–3 days per week, depending on workload
- Fixed rate paid per installation, diagnosis, and repair
We are looking for someone dependable, experienced, and comfortable handling both appliance installations and service/repair work independently. Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
