Responsibilities
- Diagnose appliance malfunctions by thoroughly inspecting units and utilizing schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on various appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, andovens, with precision and efficiency
- Conduct mechanical assessments to identify worn or damaged components requiring replacement or adjustment
- Assemble appliances or parts as needed, ensuring proper fit and function according to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
- Maintain detailed service records, including diagnostics performed, parts used, and work completed for each job
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all repair activities to ensure a secure working environment
Requirements
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics accurately
- Knowledge related to major home appliances
- Hands-on experience in appliance repair.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions is essential
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently using diagnostic tools and techniques
