Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications
- Support the construction of cabinets and furniture using hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Learn to measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood components according to project requirements
- Participate in installation of cabinets, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting within designated spaces
- Gain experience in surface preparation including sanding, painting, staining, or sealing to achieve quality finishes
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly storing tools and materials
- Collaborate with team members on various carpentry tasks such as drywall installation, flooring setup, tile laying, or siding work as needed
Requirements
- Strong interest in woodworking, carpentry, or construction trades with a desire to develop specialized skills
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking or construction environments
- Ability to follow detailed instructions from blueprints or schematics accurately
- Willingness to learn about construction safety protocols and proper tool handling
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience or coursework related to construction experience, handyman work, or manufacturing is a plus but not required
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques such as CNC machining or masonry work
