Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, the Apprentice Millwright will work across a variety of projects and teams, supporting new installations, maintenance, repairs, and mechanical upgrades in industrial environments throughout the Lower Mainland.
Key responsibilities include
- Travel to industrial customer sites across the Lower Mainland;
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, alignment, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including pumps, fans, ovens, and conveyors;
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to support safe and accurate work;
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and install mechanical equipment;
- Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and follow established safety procedures and regulations;
- Complete required job documentation, paperwork, and daily FLRAs;
- Work collaboratively with Journeyperson Millwrights and other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is someone who has completed their Level 2 Millwright Technical Training and has hands-on experience working in industrial environments. You’re eager to grow and advance your career as a Millwright through hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to a variety of projects. People would describe you as dependable, hardworking, and someone who does the right thing and goes the extra mile. You’re mechanically inclined, curious, and motivated by the opportunity to learn new skills, investigate problems, and develop practical solutions.
Our Must Haves
- Successful completion of Level 2 - Millwright Apprenticeship;
- Owns personal hand tools and approved footwear;
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and has reliable transportation;
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, food and beverage, or recycling facilities is considered an asset;
- Experience working for a mechanical contractor is considered an asset.

- Wage: $28.00-38.00 per hour
