We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to provide support to an elderly individual. This At-Home Night Assistant will provide calm overnight presence and assistance when needed during evening /night hours from 4pm - 9am, while also assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other household tasks as required.

A valid driving license is preferred, and the ability to communicate in basic English is essential.

Responsibilities:

- Overnight presence and availability at the Client’s residence
- Monitoring the home and Client as needed during night hours
- Responding to requests or emergencies during assigned hours
- Planning, preparing, and cooking balanced meals in accordance with the Client’s preferences, dietary needs, or restrictions
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized living setting
- Assisting with light housekeeping and other domestic tasks
- Monitoring medication schedules and providing reminders as required
- Providing companionship and engaging in conversation
- Reporting any significant changes or concerns regarding the Client’s condition to the appropriate parties
- Administrative tasks (e.g., scheduling, reminders, communication)
- Errands or assistance as requested and agreed upon




- On-call duties may involve remote assistance or in-person support as needed
- Any other reasonable tasks related to personal assistance, household support, wellness support, meal planning, and meal preparation

Requirements:

- Previous experience in senior care
- Nursing or medical background is preferred
- Previous housekeeping and cooking experience is considered an asset
- Valid driver's license is preferred
- Basic communication skills in English
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Compassionate, patient, and comfortable assisting an elderly individual
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
