Jim Pattison Hyundai Surrey is looking for a dependable and hardworking Detailer to join our team. In this position, you’ll help keep our dealership and inventory looking their best by ensuring vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to a high standard.

A Day in the Life Perform thorough interior and exterior detailing of customer and inventory vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, shampooing, polishing, waxing, and finishing work

Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of all vehicles on-site

Maneuver, arrange, and relocate vehicles safely within the dealership or detailing area as required

Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure quality standards are met

Identify and promptly report any vehicle damage, mechanical concerns, or property-related issues

Safely and properly use detailing tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines

Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information at all times

Contribute to a positive, team-oriented, and productive work environment

Perform other related duties as assigned What We’re Looking For A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report

Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset

Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred

This is a physically active role that requires: Frequent walking throughout the dealership, lot, and detailing areas

Extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, and reaching

Regular handling of cleaning products, tools, and detailing equipment

Operation of vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions

Significant time working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat (weather conditions are monitored for safety when necessary) What We Offer Competitive wages
