The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the Sales team. This individual must possess exceptional leadership and communication skills, a strong understanding of automotive sales processes, and a proven track record of being a successful team player. This role is ideal for a flourishing Sales Consultant looking to move into a Sales Manager role.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate sales operations in line with dealership goals.

Sales Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the sales team, ensuring that sales targets and customer satisfaction goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership, coaching, and guidance to the sales team, fostering a positive and results-driven work environment.

Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service standards are maintained and resolve escalated customer issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction and retention.

Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory levels, ensuring that the dealership maintains an adequate stock of vehicles that meet customer demand and market trends.

Training and Development: Implement training programs for the team to enhance their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of progressive automotive sales experience in a dealership environment,



including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Solid leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Sound understanding of automotive sales processes and customer preferences. Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant automotive management tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is an asset.

Previous experience with General Motors (GM) dealerships, including familiarity with GM products and processes, is required. Location & Schedule: Full-time, on-site position at 360 Rexdale Blvd, Toronto, ON M9W 1R7. Standard dealership hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Compensation

$96,000 – $120,000 annually base (depending on experience; starting at $8,000/month), plus performance-based commissions, bonuses, and incentives (uncapped potential).
