Automotive Service Technician

Alberta Honda is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, values a consistent flow of work, and wants to be part of a professional, well-organized dealership environment.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and confident working in a busy shop. If you are committed to accurate diagnostics, efficient repairs, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship, we would like to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

- Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles across a range of mechanical and electrical systems
- Complete maintenance and repair work according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify required repairs and recommended maintenance
- Accurately document work completed, diagnostic findings, and repair recommendations
- Road test vehicles when required to verify concerns and confirm completed repairs
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Parts, and other members of the Service team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Contribute to shop efficiency, productivity, and overall team performance
- Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training

What We’re Looking For
- Valid Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification
- Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and repair skills




- Previous dealership experience is considered an asset
- Honda or import vehicle experience is considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced service environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record

Pay: $32.00-$37.00 per hour

- auto mechanic: 4 years (preferred)
