Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Store Manager/Service Writer to lead our store with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this position you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing their automotive service needs from initial consultation to completion. You will also be responsible to managing day to day shop operations and instructing the mechanics on what to do.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
- Explain repair options clearly, upsell additional services when appropriate, and ensure customers understand their vehicle’s needs.
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately during transactions and maintain detailed service records.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cleanliness, and safety compliance.




- Lead and motivate the service team to deliver outstanding customer service while meeting sales goals.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through exceptional communication and follow-up to promote repeat business.

Experience

- Proven experience in an automotive service or management role.
- Strong mechanic background with hands-on mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated success in customer service, sales, and upselling within an automotive environment.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, parts inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
- Leadership experience in supervising staff and managing daily store operations is preferred.
