Salary/Rate: CAD $110,000–$140,000 per year. This range represents the good-faith compensation range currently anticipated for the position.

Job Summary:

Lead the Avionics & Communication Integrated Product Team (IPT) for aircraft development programs. Own avionics architecture, integration, technical performance, certification, and cross-functional engineering execution.

Responsibilities:

- Lead Avionics IPT activities across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and technical performance.
- Define and manage avionics architecture and aircraft-level integration.
- Coordinate systems, hardware, software, V&V;, electrical, and certification teams.
- Drive requirements, ICDs, architecture documentation, trade studies, and interface definitions.
- Lead compliance activities involving DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
- Support FAA/EASA/DGCA certification, ground testing, flight testing, and V&V.;
- Manage technical risks, configuration changes, suppliers, customers, and distributed engineering teams.

Required Qualifications:

- 12+ years of aerospace/aviation experience.




- Avionics systems development and aircraft NPD experience.
- Proven Avionics IPT or large cross-functional engineering leadership.
- Avionics system architecture and integration experience.
- Demonstrated experience with DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, and ARP4761.
- Aircraft certification experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.

Work Requirements:

- On-site work in Montreal, Canada.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ability to interface with customers, suppliers, certification organizations, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with aircraft-level systems integration and certification activities.
