Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks following all federal, state, and company regulations to transport freight across various locations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to maintain safety standards and identify maintenance needs.
- Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and compliance records throughout each shift.




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.

Requirements

- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- 3 years' driving experience.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely; certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and cargo securement techniques.
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety standards.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight, operate equipment, and perform routine inspections.
