We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Business Intelligence, Python, and API development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data solutions, developing APIs using Python, and supporting data integration and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
- Develop and maintain Python-based APIs for data integration and application connectivity.
- Build and optimize data processing, transformation, and integration solutions.
- Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Work with Azure services to support data engineering and reporting requirements.
- Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics.
- Solid programming experience in Python.
- Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs using Python.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and data integration.
- Good understanding of Azure cloud and data engineering concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Knowledge of PySpark and SQL.
- Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
