Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with extensive experience in Python and a strong background in database management and cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs that support our applications and services.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using Python.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement and manage database solutions using SQL, PL/SQL, and DB2.
- Develop ETL processes using SSIS for data integration and transformation.
- Utilize AWS services for deploying and managing applications in the cloud.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle,



from requirements gathering to deployment.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python (deal breaker skill).
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and DB2 database development.
- Proficient in SSIS for data integration tasks.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in backend development.
