Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized bakery workplace. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced food industry setting, ensuring customers enjoy fresh baked goods and a welcoming shopping experience.

Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus, along with strong time management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and package baked goods according to quality standards
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their bakery selections
- Operate SAP systems,
- Upsell bakery items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bakery area following food safety guidelines
- Restock shelves with fresh products and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during food preparation and serving




- Assist in maintaining a well-organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety

Requirements

- Ability to work early morning 5AM to 01:30 PM and able to work the closing shift also, 01:30 PM to 11 PM.You will be trained to learn everything.
- Previous experience in BAKERY preparation, food service, or cashiering is preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of SAP systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
