Role Description The Bankruptcy Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kelowna, BC. This position is responsible for managing bankruptcy case files, preparing and organizing documentation, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating with legal professionals and clients, tracking key deadlines, updating case management systems, and preparing reports or summaries as needed.
The role involves reviewing and verifying information,
assisting with the preparation of court and creditor documents, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence related to bankruptcy matters.
The Bankruptcy
Administrator will also support internal process improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality and compliance standards in all activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Contract Law and Legal Consulting to support analysis of agreements and provide informed administrative assistance to legal teams.
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with legal professionals, clients, and external stakeholders.
- Comfort working with case management software and standard office applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
- Relevant work experience in insolvency, legal administration, or financial services is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information responsibly and work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
