Overview The Banquet Attendant plays a key role in delivering exceptional event experiences for weddings, meetings, golf tournaments, and special functions. This role is responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events while maintaining the resort’s standards for hospitality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Prepare banquet rooms by setting tables, arranging chairs, and ensuring all equipment is clean and functional
- Assist with food and beverage service, including serving meals, drinks, and clearing tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet areas before, during, and after events in accordance with food safety standards
- Support the catering team with food handling and basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Respond promptly to guest requests with a friendly attitude, ensuring a positive experience for all attendees
- Help coordinate event logistics by assisting with setup and breakdown of event spaces
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation,



and guest interactions to uphold high standards of hospitality

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous banquet, serving, or hospitality experience an asset
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a quick-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Serving It Right / Smart Serve (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Safe Level 1 (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on event schedules
