Position Summary The Bar Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and day-to-day operations of both bar programs at Pineridge Hollow: The Square Bar and the Pineridge Hollow Restaurant Bar. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences through outstanding beverage service, strong team leadership, operational excellence, and creative seasonal programming.

Working closely with the culinary, events, and operations teams, the Bar Manager develops and maintains a beverage program that reflects the Pineridge Hollow brand while driving profitability, consistency, and a welcoming atmosphere across both locations.

Key Responsibilities

Bar Operations

- Oversee the daily operations of The Square Bar and the Restaurant Bar.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality beverage preparation and service across both locations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all bar spaces.
- Ensure all liquor service complies with Manitoba liquor laws and Smart Choices regulations.
- Monitor bar service standards and guest satisfaction.

Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, schedule, and lead bartenders and bar support staff.
- Foster a positive, cooperative team culture rooted in Pineridge Hollow's values.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development for team members.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on seasonal business demands and events.

Beverage Program
- Create and maintain seasonal cocktail, mocktail, wine, beer, and specialty beverage menus.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and marketing teams on new beverage offerings and promotions.
- Source products and work with vendors to maintain an exciting and profitable beverage selection.
- Support workshops, special events, weddings, and seasonal programming with beverage planning.

Inventory & Financial Management
- Manage ordering, inventory counts, and product rotation for both bars.
- Monitor beverage costs, waste,



and pour standards to meet profitability goals.
- Track sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
- Assist with budgeting and reporting for the bar department.

Guest Experience
- Lead by example in delivering warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the hospitality Pineridge Hollow is known for.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience managing a high-volume bar or beverage program.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Smart Choices certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
