About Coco Espresso Bar

Coco Espresso Bar is a modern Italian-inspired café in Toronto, offering quality espresso, specialty coffee, pastries, food, gelato, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Barista to join our team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to our recipes and standards
- Provide friendly and skilled customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments
- Prepare and serve pastries, sandwiches, gelato, and other menu items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment
- Keep the coffee bar, pastry area, tables, floors, and washrooms clean throughout the shift
- Restock supplies, pastries, cups, and other products as needed
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures
- Operate and properly care for espresso machines and other café equipment
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Support opening and closing duties
- Follow all company policies and team standards

Qualifications:
- Previous barista or café experience is an asset




- Experience with espresso machines is preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive, energetic, and professional attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Food Handler certification and Smart Serve are an asset. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
