Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and efficient workspace will contribute to the overall success of our café.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions regarding menu items.




- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work setting and enhance customer experiences.

Experience

- Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is an asset.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
