Job Summary

Our team is growing! We are looking for 1-2 bartenders to join us serving weddings, corporate celebrations, personal gatherings and public events at The Grand Hall. In this role, you will craft and serve a range of beverages, provide exceptional guest service, and assist in creating memorable events.

Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square for accurate order entry, payment processing, and cash handling
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food handling standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately while balancing cash drawers at shift end using basic math skills
- Support event staff with various duties such as serving food or beverages,



managing crowd flow, and ensuring a secure environment
- Assist in setting up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and bar stations to meet event specifications

Qualifications

- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings preferred; experience in bartending or serving is highly valued
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar cashiering systems for efficient transaction processing
- Serving It Right and Food Safe certifications
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Outstanding customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in hospitality or food service roles demonstrating reliability and teamwork
- Must be able to legally prepare and serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50lbs)
