Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender to provide an excellent customer service to our members and patrons.

A good Bartender will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.

The ideal candidate will have Serve Right, First Aid and Responsible Gambling although training will be provided.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all guests.

Responsibilities:

- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with members and patrons.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining accountability for all financial transactions (we are a CASH only establishment - no DEBIT/CREDIT system).
- Uphold the establishment's policies regarding responsible alcohol service and assist in promoting a safe environment for all guests.
- Proper VLT procedures.

Skills

- Proficient in bartending techniques.




- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards helping team members and guests alike, fostering teamwork within the bar environment.

5 to 10 scheduled hours per week, plus potential extra hours (functions, staff illness / vacations). Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. Start date would be immediately.
