This position is for locations across North East Calgary (and Chestermere) Part Time Contract hours total of approx. 3-12hours, including Evenings and Weekends.

Role Description
This is a part time, temporary contract role for a Behaviour Aide located in Calgary, AB.
The Behaviour
Aide will collaborate with clinical supervisors and families to implement individualized learning programs and behaviour intervention plans during sessions of 1.5 hours.
Responsibilities include working directly with children to build functional communication, social, and life skills, tracking client progress, reporting on outcomes and supporting the families in their learning. Additional tasks may include preparing resources and supporting the child in various environments such as home, or community.
Qualifications
- Experience or training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and a strong understanding of behaviour intervention principles is preferred
- Ability to effectively implement teaching programs and strategies for developing communication, social, and life skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to document progress and collaborate with families and clinical teams
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and their families
- Relevant educational background or experience in psychology, education, child development, or a related field (Must have minimum High School Qualification and started a Bachelors Degree)
- Experience working with children who have developmental or behavioural challenges is an asset
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in energetic environments
- Current First Aide with CPR
- Police vulnerable persons clearance within 3 months of hire date.
- Access to reliable transportation to commute to various client locations within Calgary
