Founded in 1979, Columbia International College (CIC) is the largest boarding high school in Canada. Over the past 47 years, parents from more than 120 countries have entrusted their children to CIC.

CIC offers the Total Care Education System, designed to help students achieve their goal of gaining admission to their desired post-secondary institutions. Our Total Care Education provides comprehensive services to help international students meet their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.

This position is focused on providing administrative support to international students as they navigate their studies in Canada. It falls within the Admissions and Liaison department and requires solid customer service skills and effective time management.

Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

· Respond to inquiries from prospective applicants, parents, and agents via email, phone, video conference, or in-person meetings, and inform them about the application process.

· Review and process applications, guiding applicants, parents, and agents through the admissions process.

· Under the guidance of the Recruitment & Partnership Manager, manage and develop recruitment opportunities with schools and agencies.

· Attend virtual or in-person meetings, seminars, and educational fairs to promote the school.

· Organize or participate in marketing activities and events.

· Assist in planning, promoting, coordinating, and implementing Summer Camp and Short-Term programs.

· Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinate communication between students, parents,

agents, and school departments.





· Arrange airport transportation for students, parents, and agents in collaboration with CIC transportation staff.

· Translate communications, policies, brochures, and other materials as needed for parents, students,

and agencies.

· Support students with cultural adaptation and academic transition, referring complex personal or academic issues to appropriate staff.

· Assist with event planning and execution for various occasions throughout the year, such as placement tests, regional meetings, orientation sessions, parent meetings, open houses, delegation

, and graduation ceremonies.

· Conduct in-person or virtual campus tours for visitors.

· Liaise with third-party vendors as necessary.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Recruitment & Partnership Manager.

Qualifications:

· Professional proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish and Portuguese.

· A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent training and work experience.

· Demonstrated customer service experience in a high-volume, multi-channel environment (phone,

email, and in-person).

· Strong understanding of the study permit application process, as well as Immigration Canada’s policies and procedures.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and priorities.

· Experience working in an international environment.

· Experience in an academic setting is an asset.

Hours of Work:

· Regular business hours

· Flexible hours are required, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, with advance notice where possible
