We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with robust expertise in business analysis, Azure cloud technologies, Figma, HTML/CSS, requirements management, and stakeholder facilitation. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements, develop solution documentation, and support the delivery of effective technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of business analysis experience and a proven track record of working on complex technology initiatives involving cloud-based solutions and digital experiences.

Candidates must clearly demonstrate the following experience:

8+ Years of Business Analysis Experience

- Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in Business Analysis.
- Proven experience leading business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strong ability to understand complex business problems, identify requirements, and translate business needs into actionable technology solutions.
- Experience working with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.

Azure Cloud Technologies

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies is required.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud-based applications, services, environments, and technology solutions.
- Ability to understand and document business and technical requirements associated with Azure-based solutions.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams on Azure cloud initiatives.

Figma, HTML & CSS

- Hands-on experience with Figma for creating and communicating user interface and design concepts.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Ability to understand and document UI/UX requirements and collaborate effectively with designers and development teams.
- Experience translating business requirements into clear user interface and functional requirements.





Business Analysis Documentation Demonstrated experience creating detailed and professional business analysis deliverables, including:

- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional and business requirements
- User Stories
- Acceptance criteria
- Business Cases
- Process documentation
- Requirements specifications
- Business process flows
- Use cases
- Impact assessments
- Ability to produce clear documentation that can be effectively used by technical teams for solution design and development.

JAD Session Facilitation

- Demonstrated experience facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
- Ability to plan and lead structured workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong facilitation skills to:
- Elicit requirements
- Resolve conflicting requirements
- Build consensus
- Identify business needs
- Validate proposed solutions
- Document decisions and outcomes

Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience engaging with business users, subject matter experts, project managers, architects, developers, and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear business language.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business analysis activities for complex technology and cloud-based initiatives.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirements-gathering sessions, workshops, and JAD sessions.
- Analyze business needs, processes,



and existing systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop detailed business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business cases, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with UX/design teams using Figma to define and validate user interface requirements.
- Apply working knowledge of HTML and CSS when documenting and communicating digital/UI requirements.
- Work with technical teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and translated into appropriate solutions.
- Support Azure cloud initiatives by analyzing business requirements and documenting functional and technical needs.
- Facilitate requirements validation and review sessions with stakeholders.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and impacts associated with proposed solutions.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation, and change activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain traceability and ensure requirements remain aligned with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working on large-scale digital transformation or enterprise technology projects.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture concepts.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience creating process models, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Experience working with UX/UI designers and development teams.
- Business Analysis certification such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent is an asset.
- Experience working in government, public-sector, or highly regulated environments is an asset.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Pay: $75.00-$85.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.25 per week
