About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst with a solid background in Payments Domain to support enterprise payments technology initiatives for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of payment processing systems, including ACH/EFT, Real-Time Payments, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 standards. The role involves eliciting, analyzing, and documenting complex business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
The Business System
Analyst will play a critical role in supporting payment system enhancements,
integrations, regulatory compliance, and testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge payment technologies within a dynamic and creative environment, contributing to the modernization of financial services infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business or System Analyst in the banking or financial services industry
- Strong expertise in Payments Technology, including ACH/EFT, Real-Time Payments (RTP), SWIFT, and ISO 20022
- Proven experience in gathering and documenting business and system requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with cross-border and domestic payment processing systems
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to payments and financial transactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze,
and document detailed business and system requirements for payment processing solutions
- Translate business needs into comprehensive functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity
- Support and facilitate payment system enhancements, integrations, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Participate actively in testing phases, including system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment activities
- Assist in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of payment systems
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices in payments technology
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to regulatory requirements
