Maple Senior Homecare Services provides compassionate, professional in-home care that helps seniors live safely and independently at home. Our mission is rooted in a simple belief: every senior deserves quality care, close to home. As we grow, we're looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to build and lead our referral partnerships and client acquisition strategy.

Position Summary

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key healthcare referral sources, and developing strategies to expand Maple's presence in the senior care market. You'll work closely with our care and marketing teams to ensure business growth aligns with our commitment to quality, compassionate service. This is a contract position with salary and performance-based compensation.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, cultivate, and manage referral relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, physicians, assisted living communities, and financial advisors

Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the local senior care market, including outreach targets and growth goals

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends

Conduct in-home consultations with prospective clients and families, assessing care needs and presenting service options

Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pitches to referral partners and community organizations

Represent Maple at community events,



health fairs, and senior-focused expos to build brand visibility

Negotiate agreements and formalize referral partnerships

Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach activity, and conversions in the CRM

Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and content targeting adult children of seniors (primary decision-makers)

Provide regular reports on business development activity, pipeline status, and results against targets

Nurture existing referral accounts through ongoing, consistent follow-up and relationship management

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred

Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within healthcare, home care, or senior services

Robust understanding of the local healthcare and senior care referral ecosystem

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to work independently, manage a full pipeline, and meet targets with minimal supervision

Comfortable balancing field-based relationship-building with CRM/admin reporting

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compassionate, professional demeanor when working with seniors and their families

Compensation & Contract Details

Contract-based position, with compensation structured as salary and performance-based compensation.
