Overview

TD Builds is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team on Prince Edward Island.

We’re looking for someone with strong residential construction experience who can work independently, take ownership of their work, and is comfortable leading or working alongside a small crew when needed.

The ideal candidate will have broad experience in residential construction, including framing, siding, exterior trim, windows and doors, interior trim, flooring, and general carpentry. Experience with concrete forming or foundations would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

- Working independently or leading and working alongside a small crew
- Reading plans and understanding job requirements
- Planning and sequencing daily work
- Framing and general carpentry
- Siding, soffit, fascia and exterior trim
- Window and door installation
- Interior trim and finish carpentry
- Flooring installation
- Maintaining quality and productivity on site
- Problem solving and completing work with minimal supervision
- Communicating with management,



customers and contractors
- Keeping jobsites clean, organized and professional

Qualifications

- minimum 5 years of residential construction experience
- Strong overall carpentry knowledge
- Quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Experience leading or supervising a small crew is preferred
- Reliable, organized and self-motivated
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Own basic hand tools

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
