Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong cash handling skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and register balancing at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance customer experience.
- Provide information about products and promotions to encourage sales.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- able to work in the cooler for long hours

Requirements

- Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred.
- Liquor store experience would be an asset.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Proficient in using POS systems and other retail technology.
- A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
