COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. is a leading global ocean carrier with a rich history in the Canadian market. The company is launching a brand-new operations centre, COSCO SHIPPING NAOC – North America Operation Center, in Toronto, and we are seeking detailed-oriented Commercial Invoice Coordinators to manage the commercial invoices for our global clients.

This is a full time position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to the Deputy General Manager of Commercial Department of NAOC.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and resolve rail freight invoice discrepancies and rejections in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collect, reconcile, and monitor statements from Multimodal Transport Operators (MTOs), stevedores, and other service providers to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, and Procurement teams, to support invoice verification, approval, and payment processing.
- Follow up with vendors and relevant parties to address billing issues and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to invoicing and payment activities.

Skills/Requirements

- Post-secondary Education in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related fields.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in shipping,



logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying start and end times, including statutory holidays, as required to meet operational and business needs.
