Description

RP Rents WI Drivers are responsible for the safe and timely transportation to and from customer sites and company locations. This role ensures equipment is delivered in excellent condition while providing professional service and maintaining all required documentation. This role involves loading and unloading equipment, performing vehicle inspections, and ensuring all deliveries are completed with accuracy and professionalism.

The position requires strong attention to safety, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in the field.

Key Responsibilities

- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment using company trucks and trailers.
- Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment safety and compliance.
- Maintain delivery documentation, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and inspection forms.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, service teams, and customers regarding delivery times and equipment status.




- Represent the company professionally at customer sites, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with basic maintenance or cleaning of equipment when needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

- Prior experience specifically delivering or retrieving rental equipment
- Experience operating or loading/unloading equipment
- Working knowledge of the local roads, effective routing, traffic patterns, and ability to work in congested or tight spaces (job sites, construction zones)
- Mechanically‑inclined or at least able to perform basic inspections, recognize equiptment defects, and understand load securement or tie‑down method
- Strong customer‑service skills
- CDL Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or equivalent
