Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to various destinations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment, adhering to safety protocols
- Verify delivery orders, documentation, and freight integrity before departure and upon arrival
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment records, and inspection reports
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules




- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for heavy vehicles
- Skilled in forklift operation and freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair techniques
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or maps in urban and rural areas
- Strong attention to detail for inspecting freight and vehicle safety checks
- Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
