About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Italian Chef to join our team at an Italian café, bakery, and restaurant. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and experience preparing fresh, high-quality Italian dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Italian cooking experience is preferred, but candidates without Italian cuisine experience are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes including pasta, sauces, pizzas, sandwiches, and other Italian specialties.
- Prepare food according to recipes, quality standards, and portion requirements.
- Prepare fresh ingredients, sauces, dough, and other kitchen items.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and food quality.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate ingredient requirements to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Properly store and label food products.




- Work efficiently during busy hours and maintain a smooth kitchen operation.
- Assist with menu preparation and new Italian dish development when required.
- Train and support other kitchen staff when needed.

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Italian Chef or in Italian cuisine is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Experience preparing pasta, sauces, pizza, and other Italian dishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food quality, and presentation.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
