Superior Child Learning Centre

Superior Child Learning Centre is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Chess Instructor to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with children and have a strong background in chess, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Teach chess classes to students ages 4-12
- Develop engaging lessons for beginners and intermediate players
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, concentration, and strategic planning skills
- Organize chess games, challenges, and tournaments
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required

Qualifications
- Solid knowledge of chess rules, tactics, and strategies
- Experience teaching or coaching children preferred
- Tournament experience or chess certifications are an asset




- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Patient, energetic, and passionate about working with children
- Ability to teach in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset

Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate based on qualifications and experience
- Opportunities for additional teaching hours as programs grow

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
