Duties
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to understand their health concerns and medical history
- Develop customized treatment plans focused on spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and rehabilitative exercises
- Perform chiropractic adjustments confidently to alleviate pain and improve mobility
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and overall wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatments, progress notes, and recommendations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care when necessary
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and advancements in pain management
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Alberta (CCAA)
- Proven experience in patient care with a focus on musculoskeletal health
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology relevant to chiropractic practice
- Demonstrated pain management experience with effective treatment strategies
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and wellness advice to patients
- Ability to build rapport quickly and foster a welcoming environment for diverse patient populations
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
