We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Class 1 Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and freight handling will be essential to keep our logistics running smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other essential systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, freight manifests, and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working setting at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience
- Ability to perform detailed pre-trip inspections and adhere to safety standards
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads (must be able to lift at least 50lbs) and perform manual tasks as required
- English proficiency is required.
- H2S Alive, First Aid, and TDG certification is preferred
