Nelson Lumber Grande Prairie is looking for a reliable, experienced Class 1 or Class 3 Picker Operator to join our team, specializing in drywall deliveries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering drywall and building materials to residential, commercial, and construction sites throughout the Grande Prairie area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely, and works well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a Class 1 or Class 3 delivery truck and picker equipment.
- Deliver drywall and building materials safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials.
- Operate picker equipment to safely place materials at delivery locations.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Assist with yard duties, loading, and unloading when required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work cooperatively with dispatch, yard staff, and other team members.

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's Licence.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Previous picker operator experience required.
- Drywall delivery experience is considered a strong asset.
- Local to Grande Prairie, AB.
- Able to safely lift and handle 50+ lbs.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Reliable, punctual,



and dependable.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
