Job Overview

We are looking for experienced class 3 truck drivers to operate concrete trucks in the Saint Andrew’s area.

Base rate up to $31.14/hour based on experience. Plus an additional 10% vacation pay, paid weekly. Pension and benefits contributions paid by the employer.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 3 trucks to pick up and deliver freight to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling,

Requirements

- Valid Class 3 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Robust understanding of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and customer service
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed

Pay: Up to $31.14 per hour
