- Implementation Vendor Leadership Experience: Must have a proven track record working at an Implementation Vendor as a Payroll Domain Leader. Must have participated in at least two end-to-end Workday implementation projects (from project initiation to completion) for large-scale multinational companies.
- Domain Expertise (US, Canada & Expat): Deep, practical understanding of Canadian Payroll processing, statutory labor and tax laws, social insurance, and general HR business operations.
- Workday Expertise & Hands-on Capability: Minimum 3+ years of proven hands-on experience supporting and configuring Workday Payroll. Deep proficiency in Workday configuration, data structure,
and integrations, with the ability to directly navigate the system to verify settings.
- Testing Experience: 4+ years of experience in testing Workday implementations, including the review of detailed test plans, comprehensive E2E test cases, and management of Payroll Parallel testing.
- Problem Solving & Communication: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to independently identify problems, conceptualize solutions, and drive vendor actions. Proven ability to communicate effectively, accurately gather internal requirements, and strongly negotiate with vendors.
