Job Overview

Our walk-in clinic is hiring an Internationally Trained Physician to work alongside our physicians as a clinical assistant. This is a Canadian clinical environment role designed for IMGs building local experience while pursuing licensure. You will not practise independently; all patient care is delivered under the direct supervision of a licensed physician.

Duties

- Take patient histories and document visits in the EMR in real time
- Prepare charts, review labs and imaging results for physician sign-off
- Assist with in-clinic procedures, vitals, and patient flow
- Handle referrals, requisitions, forms, and follow-up coordination
- Support front-desk and triage during peak walk-in volume

What we're looking for

- Medical degree (MD/MBBS) from an accredited international institution
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Strong clinical reasoning and English communication
- Comfortable with EMR systems (training provided)
- Reliable, fast-paced, and able to commit to 5 days/week
- Previous experience working in a Ontario medical walk-in clinic environment an asset




- Pursuing CPSO licensure or Canadian residency is an asset, not a requirement
