About The School Of Medicine

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Clinical Learning Coordinator to join our team! The Coordinator provides support for undergraduate (UG)



and postgraduate (PG) clinical learning activities within TMU’s School of Medicine (SoM) by coordinating operational and administrative processes related to clinical site capacity, learner placement logistics, registration requirements, and preceptor documentation. This role coordinates communication and documentation flow between TMU program units, hospital and community clinical sites, and clinical faculty/preceptors.

The Coordinator also tracks learner placement details, monitors site capacity, completes required paperwork for site onboarding, and maintains accurate data and records to ensure compliant, efficient, and learner-ready placements.

Responsibilities Include

- Clinical learning operations, documentation, logistics and site coordination
- Coordinates administrative processes, maintains and standardizes clinical learning documentation and templates, and Coordinates placement logistics across multiple hospital and community sites

- UGME and PGME learner registration & compliance requirements

- Tracks, collects, and processes learner onboarding documentation and serves as the primary administrative contact for hospital education offices, clinics and affiliate sites

- Electives coordination

- Processes incoming elective placement requests and records and maintains accurate elective registration, learner information and rotation details

- Records management and preceptor administration

- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records and supports data collection processes

Qualifications To help us learn more about you, please provide a cover letter and resume describing how you meet the following required qualifications:

- Completion of a post-secondary degree in education, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of similar administrative or coordination experience, preferably within medical education or healthcare setting.
- Equivalent experience or a combination of equivalent experience and education may be accepted in place of education.
- Strong organizational and logistical coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and comfort working with databases, learner assessment, and scheduling systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills,



with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across distributed clinical and academic sites.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with team members, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Ability to track, maintain, and reconcile complex data accurately across multiple programs and systems.
- Knowledge of medical education structures, including clinical funding and preceptor models.
