CNC Programmer / Cabinet Maker – Millwork

Romano Millwork Group is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Cabinet Maker to join our team in Bowmanville, Ontario.

We are a growing custom millwork and cabinetry company working on residential and commercial projects. We are looking for someone who can step into a hands-on role in the shop and confidently handle CNC programming, machining, cabinet construction, assembly, and detailed millwork.

Responsibilities

- Program and operate CNC machinery using Mozaik software
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and cabinet plans
- Prepare CNC files and optimize parts for production
- Manufacture and assemble custom cabinets and millwork
- Build and install crown moulding, fillers, panels, trim, and other custom components
- Work with painted MDF, plywood, melamine, laminate, and other cabinet materials
- Perform commercial cabinet and laminate work
- Laminate cabinets, panels, and other millwork components
- Ensure parts are accurately machined and assembled to specifications
- Troubleshoot CNC or programming issues when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure shop
- Work closely with project management, design, finishing, and installation teams
- Assist with other shop duties as required

Qualifications




- Minimum 3–5 years of cabinetmaking or millwork experience preferred
- Strong experience programming and operating CNC equipment
- Mozaik software experience is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and manufacturing
- Ability to read and understand detailed shop drawings
- Experience with crown moulding and detailed finishing work
- Experience with commercial millwork and laminating is an asset
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to meet production deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills
- Experience with edgebanders and other woodworking machinery is an asset

Compensation $27–$35 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

Full-time position with opportunities for growth as the company continues to expand.
