Communities Pastor

Position Type: permanent, full-time (40hrs/wk)

Beulah Alliance Church is seeking a passionate and experienced Communities Pastor for our West Campus to move people from attending to belonging by helping adults find connection, purpose, and a path into the everyday lifestyle of being and making disciples of Jesus.

Role responsibilities:

- Champion the vision for Beulah Communities by innovating, building, and advancing a culture of disciple-making through everyday community life.
- Cast vision, oversee structure, recruit and equip leaders within ministry area.
- Provide ongoing coaching to volunteers to strengthen the health of Beulah Communities.
- Mobilize leaders, surface new hosts, and catalyze new Communities in strategic areas & networks.
- Equip leaders to create space for new people to belong, grow, and live on mission.
- Uphold best practices for making disciples in and through community.
- Oversee community-related initiatives, ensuring they’re aligned, resourced, and producing fruit.
- Design, develop, and refine training environments, coaching rhythms, and support systems that equip everyday people to lead and live out Beulah’s Practices.
- Create values-aligned content to help leaders foster life transformation within their communities.
- Invite the church into deeper engagement with Beulah’s Practices.
- Build and maintain systems within ministry area.
- Monitor ministry health and impact to direct, identify gaps, and support leaders well.
- Collaboratively ensure smooth movement from First Steps to integrated life with the church by helping people live out the everyday life of being and making disciples.

- Demonstrated expertise in vision casting and recruiting volunteers into ministry.
- Comfortable public speaker & facilitator of adult learning in small, mid-size or workshop settings.
- Entrepreneurial, with ability to develop and implement projects in a timely manner.
- Spiritual gifting: Leadership. Mobilizer-Galvanizer.
- Able to be fully licensed with the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination in Canada.
- Minimum of 5 yrs experience in ministry positions with increasing levels of responsibility.
- A diploma (2 yrs min) from a credible Biblical Institution with an emphasis in either Theology, Biblical Studies, Missiology, or Christian Ministry, and a heart for ministry.
