Clean Prosperity

Canada

This role is an opportunity to have a major impact in shaping climate and energy policy in Canada. Our Communications Manager will help define Clean Prosperity’s public voice as we strive for pragmatic public policy that balances the fight against climate change with other critical priorities for Canada, like affordability, economic growth, national security, and national unity.

Clean Prosperity is an independent, non-partisan group of policy experts and political advocates who work with Canada’s federal and provincial governments. We design and fight for policies that will make life better for Canadians, strengthen our country, and reduce emissions.

We meet people where they are and work together on solutions to policy problems. We know that climate policy has to survive in the long term if it’s going to succeed, so we focus on durable, cross-partisan strategies.

We’ve influenced dealmaking between federal and provincial governments on climate and energy policy, contributed to a broad range of carbon market reforms, and helped shape cutting-edge provincial electrification policies. We’re increasingly a leading national voice on nuclear energy.

Clean Prosperity works across the political spectrum. We’re unique for working with Canadian conservatives to help them design effective climate and energy policy that fits their values and priorities.

The Communications Manager will play an important role in expanding our reach and influence.

We are passionate about what we do, and seek the same in a Communications Manager. We offer a fun, flexible, inspiring, creative, and collaborative work environment.

The role

You’ll be using your ingenuity, creativity, determination, and exceptional writing skills every day to produce public communications that contribute to achieving our policy objectives.

That includes working on compelling op-eds in national media, dynamic presentation decks for decision-makers, and major research reports that change how people think about climate policy.

You’ll need to be a great storyteller who can turn technical topics into narratives that are engaging and persuasive.
