For this position we require professional education and experience working with people with various disabilities and a Class 4 drivers licence for driving people.

About the Community Accessibility Driver Role

As a KPPT Driver, you'll do much more than just drive - you'll provide essential transportation for people in our community, helping them get to medical appointments, run errands, attend classes, and get to work. If you enjoy meeting people and want a meaningful job with a purpose, this might be the perfect fit for you.

Regular operating hours are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts. Shifts may start as early as 6am and end as late as 6pm. Shifts may be split.

- Starting wage: $19.50/hour with raise after 3 months probation
- Additional perks: Total compensation package includes 13 paid Holidays,



vacation, and sick days and access to shared benefits package.
- Work type: Regular Wednesday driver who can work other days on a casual basis.
- Deadline: September 11, 2026

We want team members who are:
- Skilled and safe drivers with a valid Class 4 license or higher (or willing to obtain one and pass KPPT sponsored driver test)
- Have a clean Driver's Abstract
- Able to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers in all driving conditions
- CPR and First Aid certified within last 6 months
- Able to pass a criminal record check, including Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry clearances
- Empathetic, respectful, and professional - with strong communication and listening skills
- Comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds, including those facing mobility, health, economic, or social challenges
- Independent and responsible, with good judgement and flexibility in a dynamic work setting

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Experience

- Working with individuals with disabilities: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- CCA or PSW certification (preferred)
- Class 4 Licence and experience driving people (required)

Work Location: In person
