We are seeking an outgoing Community & Corporate Partnerships Associate who will work collaboratively with our team to advance our mission of ensuring no Manitoban goes hungry. Reporting to the Development Manager this role plays a key part in strengthening relationships with corporate partners, community organizations, and volunteers.

The Associate supports workplace and community giving initiatives, corporate food and fund drives, and community events through effective relationship management, logistical coordination, data tracking, and donor stewardship. Acting as a frontline ambassador for Harvest Manitoba, the Associate engages partners through meaningful fundraising and volunteer experiences while ensuring accurate administration, recognition, and reporting of community and corporate contributions.

Reports to: Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Partner & Donor Relationship Management

- Cultivate and steward relationships with corporate partners, employee giving coordinators, and HR contacts to grow workplace campaign participation and revenue.
- Engage corporate donors with opportunities to give philanthropically, through cause marketing and sponsorship, in alignment with their CSR priorities.
- Implement a moves management approach for selected food and fundraising partners, tracking engagement activities and ensuring timely stewardship and recognition.
- Attend community functions and represent Harvest Manitoba to prospects and supporters as appropriate.
- Follow up with corporate volunteer groups following events to introduce individual and workplace giving opportunities, supporting the volunteer-to-donor pipeline.

1. Workplace & Community Giving Programs

- Engage corporate partners, employee volunteer groups, community organizations, and youth groups in food drives, independent fundraising, and peer-to-peer campaigns .
- Develop and maintain campaign-in-a-box toolkits to support independent corporate food and fund drives.
- Support workplace giving initiatives by preparing toolkits, communications collateral, and presentations.
- Support matching gift program administration, including educating donors on employer matching programs and tracking submissions.

1. Community Food Drive Events – Coordination & Logistics

- Assist in the coordination and implementation of all approved Harvest Manitoba Community Food Drive Events.
- Drive cube vans, completing all required vehicle inspections and procedures, to support Community Events.
- Assist with coordination, implementation, delivery and pickup of community food drive items; responsible for loading and unloading donation bins.
- At peak times, serve as on-site contact person or speak at Community Events as required.




- During Community Food Drive Events, manage donation procedures and take accountability for collection and accounting practices related to monetary donations.

1. Data, Analytics & Database Management

- Use analytics and fundraising data to enhance partner cultivation and make evidence-based decisions to improve program outcomes.
- Create custom online food and fund drive donation pages on DonorPerfect.
- Maintain execution of Community Event Agreements, event files and databases.
- Provide accurate, ongoing background reports on events, donor activities, event history and food drive weights.

1. Communications & Stewardship

- Prepare correspondence related to community food drives, including thank-you letters, thank-you phone calls, acknowledgements, and recognition of support.
- Provide general office administrative support to the development team.

1. Other Duties as Assigned

Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in business, project management, public administration, information technology, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Relevant experience building and maintaining strong relationships, and engaging corporate partners, community organizations, and volunteers in fundraising, food drive, or community-based initiatives.
- Comfort presenting to groups and sharing organizational missions in a clear, engaging, and accessible way in workplace or community settings.
- Experience with, or an interest in learning about, corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and employee giving platforms (an asset).
- Knowledge of donor cultivation, recognition, and stewardship practices, or a willingness to develop these skills (an asset).
- Experience with peer-to-peer fundraising platforms and online fundraising tools, or transferable experience with digital engagement tools (an asset).
- Motivation to contribute to program growth, community participation, and shared fundraising goals.
- Experience handling monetary donations or other sensitive transactions, with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, accountability, and integrity.
- Ability to work respectfully and confidentially with sensitive donor and participant information.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving priorities, seasonal demands, and urgent operational needs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with DonorPerfect or similar donor databases, or the ability to learn new systems with support (an asset).

- You hold a valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s licence with a satisfactory driver’s abstract, willing to drive a cube van to pick up donations and strong working knowledge of Winnipeg driving routes.
- You are willing to provide a transparent Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check as a condition of employment.
