NOW HIRING Millwright - Lead from the Front - Full time Permanent

Industry: Grain Handling / Agriculture Construction

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 50 to 55 hours per week (OT after 44 hrs)

Pay: $35–$40/hour depending on experience (opportunity to progress as leadership responsibilities increase) +Year End Bonus + Healthcare Spending Account + Pension

Work Location: 2294 County Road 31, Winchester ON

This is a new currently available position. More than 1 position may be available.

This is more than a millwright position. We're looking for an experienced tradesperson who wants to take the next step into field leadership. You'll continue working hands-on alongside the crew while taking increasing responsibility for coordinating people, solving problems and delivering quality installations.

For the right person, this role can provide a pathway toward Foreman and broader field leadership responsibilities.

$35–$40/hour depending on experience, with opportunity to progress as leadership responsibilities increase.

Not a Ticketed Millwright? Don't worry, we measure skills and experience not just Tickets. Journeyman Millwright certification is preferred, but we will consider candidates with significant construction millwright, mechanical installation or agricultural equipment experience who can demonstrate the skills required to succeed in the role.

This is a working leadership role for individuals who enjoy being in the field, solving problems on site, and taking pride in building systems that farmers depend on every day.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and work with a crew installing grain handling systems (millwrighting, equipment work)
- Assemble and install mechanical and structural components on job sites
- Read basic drawings and follow project direction from the Project Manager




- Solve practical issues on site as work progresses
- Ensure secure, efficient, high-quality installation work
- Travel across Eastern Ontario (occasional overnight stays required - company paid!)
- Work safely at heights (training provided)
- Operate tools and equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, and other site machinery (training provided)

What We’re Looking For We're looking for an experienced construction millwright or skilled tradesperson who is ready to take on greater leadership responsibility.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Construction Millwright, mechanical installation or industrial construction experience
- Comfort working outdoors, at heights, and in physically demanding environments
- Experience leading or mentoring a crew
- Experience reading drawings and installing mechanical/structural equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Ownership of their work and shows up consistently
- Clear communication and works well in a team
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Pride in being a positive example for junior members on the team
- A strong work ethic and the ability to take ownership of a job from start to finish

Experience with any of the following is an asset:
- Grain handling systems
- Conveyors and augers
- Grain bins and dryers
- Agricultural equipment
- Structural steel
- Industrial equipment installation




- CWB welding certification
- Millwright certification
