Conformex Construction is hiring within our service division for a Construction Service Technician. Responsibilities:
- Work within a team to contribute to the successful delivery of various construction projects throughout the Ottawa area
- Be involved in various projects related to concrete, restoration, waterproofing, and more
- Operate different power tools, handle different materials and application methods
- Contribute to the overall performance and outcome of the project, delivering high customer satisfaction
- Ensure best practise and methods are used, ensuring a safe and healthy site for yourself and others
Requirements:
- Construction experience required,
ideally within concrete, waterproofing however other forms of construction will be considered
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, in different types of environments both indoors and outdoors
- Robust organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
- Clear communicator and willing to take direction and lead by example
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Own, reliable transportation required to be able to commute to job sites
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
