Responsibilities

- Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance to promote independence and comfort.
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols to ensure safety and adherence to care plans.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs while respecting individual preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas through routine cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.




- Support residents with activities that enhance cognitive function, especially those living with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Assist with transportation for appointments or outings, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.

Skills

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable.
- Strong background in senior care, including experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and active listening abilities.
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and connect meaningfully with residents.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or resident needs in a rapid-paced environment.
